Then this is the place to do it. If you need critiques you need to become more than a musician; you need to be your own promoter. Go out on the spaces on the web you know and fish for them in ways that *will actually get people writing.* Start with the forums here if you need to and familiarize yourself with the locals/regulars. There are so many places through the internet you can ask for help from peers, I wouldn't be able to list them all. Personally there are a lot of collectives I follow that drop tons of comments for each other.
If there is anything to take from this it is: "Don't stop here. If you think one news post on Newgrounds is going to get you somewhere, it's not. Keep self-promoting!"
